The Rev. Dr. Peter J. Luton, DMin '82 was raised in the First Unitarian Church of Cleveland where he was active in the Liberal religious Youth Program and the night custodian.  Since 1994 he has been the Senior Minister of East Shore Unitarian Church in Bellevue, Washington.  He graduated from Meadville Lombard with a D. Min. in 1982 and began his parish career in Yarmouth, Maine.  He served for six years on the CENTER Committee of the Unitarian Universalist Ministers Association which develops continuing education opportunities for clergy.  He has also served on the UUMA Executive Committee and is currently a member of the UUA Growth Team.  In 1989 he enjoyed a term as Minister in Residence at Meadville.  For the past three years he has been the Denominational Formation Director for Unitarian Universalist seminarians at the Ecumenical Institute of the School for Theology and Ministry at Seattle University.
