Craig Scholl
Craig
Scholl is a life-long Unitarian Universalist and has served the
Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) and as an active member of
four UU congregations. His professional interests have focused on
intuitional investing and he currently serves as a Director within
Lazard Asset Management's Boston-based quantitative equity
group. Craig has over 20 years of professional investment
experience as a consultant, pension manager, and investor. He is author
of a chapter called "The Benchmark Dilemma: Managing the Hidden Risks"
in a book titled How to Identify and Manage Risk in Global Markets. He is also co-author of "Fact and fiction in 401(k) stable value funds," an article in Pensions & Investments Age.
He is the former chair of
the UUA's Investment Committee and was a member from 1999 through
2007. This Committee is responsible for investment management of
the UUA's endowment fund as well as funds invested for UUA
congregations and affiliated organizations. Craig has been an
active member of UU congregations in Westport, Connecticut; Palo Alto,
California; Richmond, Virginia; and in Needham, Massachusetts where he
currently resides with his wife and two sons.
Craig received a Bachelor
of Science degree in Finance and Television Production from Syracuse
University. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation
and is a member of CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts
Society. He is a former board member of the San Francisco Society of
Security Analysts, Pensions West, and the National Association of State
Investment Professionals. |
