Contextual Learning Model: Learning by Doing

Come spend 25 hours with us to experience what it is like to be a student at Meadville Lombard, and find out more about our porgrmas. You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Connect with current students
  • Meet our faculty that includes Unitarian Universalist powerhouses in ministry, teaching, academics, and activism
  • Explore our groundbreaking M.Div. & M.A. degree programs taught in a low-residency curriculum, which allows you to live and learn in your local community and pursue your degree through two to four visits to Chicago a year
  • Participate in the annual Meadville Lombard Learning Convocation
  • You will also have an option to extend your stay to take a class for a fee on Saturday, January 7, just to audit or for a credit. Contact Ken McHugh (312) 212-0673 for more information.

The 25 hours starts at 2:00pm onThursday, January 5th and ends at 5:00 pm on Friday, January 6th. Registration begins at 1:30pm on Thursday, so please arrive between 1:30-1:55pm.

A $60 registration fee will cover a night at a nearby hotel and most meals (friendly to vegan and gluten free diets). (We'll be providing dinner on Thursday and lunch on Friday.) The hotel is near Meadville Lombard and is close to train stations and other public transportation options to explore the Chicago area.

We look forward to welcoming you to Meadville Lombard! Our doors are open to all who consider attending a theological school. If you have any questions, please contact Ken McHugh, Vice President for Enrollement Management and Student Affairs at kmchugh@meadville.edu or (312) 212-0673.
