The Master of Divinity degree requires 90 completed credits.

Below is an outline of the MDiv pathway for a full-time student over three years. Our Contextual Learning model of theological education makes it possible for you to learn and gain experience in your own community and congregation, and travel to Chicago only for intensive courses in January, March, July, and August. You’ll complete and discuss coursework throughout every semester with peers and faculty via Meadville Lombard’s online education platform. The Director of Contextual Ministry works with MDiv students to find the best internship site and Teaching Pastor for each student’s personal formation.
