Darrick Jackson

Rev. Darrick Jackson has served as Consulting Minister of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Storrs, Connecticut, and the Unitarian Universalist Parish of Monson, Massachusetts.

The Rev. Darrick Jackson is the Interim Associate Executive Director of the UU Ministers Association. He recently served as the Director of Contextual Ministry at Meadville Lombard. Previously, Darrick was the Consulting Minister of both the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Storrs, CT and the Unitarian Universalist Parish of Monson, MA. Darrick is one of the authors in the book Centering: Navigating Race, Authenticity and Power in Ministry.

Darrick has been very active denominationally, and currently serves as the Treasurer for DRUUMM (DIverse and Revolutionary UU Multicultural Ministries) and Treasurer of the Board for Healing Moments (A ministry for caregivers of people with Alzheimer’s). He is also on the advisory boards for UU Class Conversations and Preaching by Heart.

In his free time, Darrick likes to knit and to be involved in theatre. He is married to James Olson, a United Church of Christ minister and lives with their two cats, Merlin and Morgana.
