Carly joined the ML staff in December 2022. She recruits new students and works with admitted students.
Carly (she/they) joined the Meadville Lombard team in late 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an adjunct professor of Religious Studies and the Director and Campus Minister for Religious and Spiritual Diversity at Santa Clara University for 4 years. She is deeply committed in her career to the work of higher education and spiritual development and held various positions in residence life and student affairs, as well as camp leadership and outdoor education.
Carly received their Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Azusa Pacific University and Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Boston University’s School of Theology. They are currently continuing their education by pursuing a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology through Santa Clara University.
Beyond the academy, Carly is a devoted student of the earth. She has formally and informally studied and practiced community medicinal herbalism for many years, and enjoys foraging and making sustainable herbal remedies for themself and their community. Carly currently dwells in Austin, TX, with their cat Luna and a community of beloved friends.
