Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) I, II, & III provided emergency funds to institutions of higher education, including Meadville Lombard, to be distributed directly to students. 

Current COVID Guidelines

Meadville Lombard will continue to follow COVID guidelines from the CDC, the state of Illinois, and the city of Chicago.  

Effective January 2024, for those coming to campus:

  • We strongly recommend that everyone receive the up-to-date COVID and flu boosters as well as RSV vaccine to protect your own health and others. 
  • If you have been exposed to COVID in the last 10 days, please test for COVID-19 prior to traveling to Chicago. Even if you are negative for COVID, please wear a mask while on campus (N95 preferred).
  • If you have been in an area where COVID Hospital Admission rates are high within the last 10 days, please test for COVID-19 before traveling to Chicago. https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#maps_new-admissions-rate-county
  • If you have COVID symptoms, regardless of COVID test status, please stay home and participate virtually. 
  •  If you have tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 5 days, please stay home and participate virtually. 
  • If you tested positive for COVID-19 between 6 and 10 days ago, please wear a mask while on campus (N95 preferred). 
  • Masks are optional for those who have not been exposed to or tested positive for COVID in the last 10 days.
