This week-long immersion is for teams (ministers, professional religious educators, committees) or individuals wanting to deep and refresh faith formation in their religious community. We will...
- explore our rich history of religious education and make note of how formative people and events shaped its philosophy;
- experience firsthand a variety of teaching strategies; explore theories of human, faith and identity development;
- investigate through contextual research in our own congregations how these theories and models play out;
- open our imaginations as to what is possible through a private excursion to the WNDR Museum.
When you leave, you will take with you a refreshed plan for the year and beyond, as well as a collegial cohort with whom to continue to cross-pollinate.
