Program Requirements

Upon completing the program you will have experienced:

• 4 all-day Virtual Retreats in a community of up to 24 other students
• 4 integrative, end-of-term wrap-up sessions
• 32 asynchronistic, virtual classes: resources and reflection
• 16 virtual classes with a cohort of up to 12 other students
• 18–27 practice spiritual direction sessions with support from supervisor and peers
• 16 peer supervision sessions
• Monthly spiritual direction as directed

You will have:

• read at least 16 books about spiritual direction and participated in an interactive processing
• shared a book review with your cohort
• presented an article about spiritual direction with your cohort
• offered regular reflections
• participated in 1 individual supervision meeting (with the option to add more)
• created your website and/or business material design for your future private practice
• participated in a final interview to affirm your gifts and readiness to launch

Upon completing the program you will have a strong foundation to be a responsible spiritual director. You will have a cohort of other spiritual directors. You will be woven into the network of the UU Spiritual Directors Network.
